Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism Policy
Authors must submit original, previously unpublished research for consideration in the "Researchers Gate Journal for Studies and Research". The journal requires that all manuscripts include appropriate citations and proper referencing, completely free from any form of plagiarism. The journal will not accept research that has been submitted or published elsewhere (dual submission).
Plagiarism Screening Procedures:
All research papers are subjected to rigorous screening using the internationally recognized (Turnitin) software to detect plagiarism before being sent for scientific evaluation (peer review). To ensure scientific rigor, the journal applies the following thresholds:
- The overall similarity index of the submitted manuscript must not exceed 20%.
- The similarity rate from any single source must not exceed 5%.
Actions Taken and Legal Responsibility:
The editorial board will outright reject the manuscript if plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process. The author commits in writing to bear full legal and ethical responsibility in the event of plagiarism or the appropriation of other researchers' efforts without proper citation and acknowledgment. The journal strictly follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling plagiarism cases, which includes the retraction of the article if plagiarism is discovered post-publication.
