Complaints and appeals
1. Researchers have the right to appeal decisions made by the journal's editorial board regarding violations of scientific conduct and publication ethics. Appeals or complaints can be submitted by sending an official letter via the journal's email.
2. Upon receiving a complaint or grievance, the editor-in-chief forms a specialized subcommittee to study the presented issue. The committee submits its report and recommendations to the editor-in-chief, and the complainant is responded to via their official email within approximately two weeks.
3. The journal adheres to a clear and approved timeline for responding to all appeals and complaints, with documented responses accompanied by reliable evidence. The action taken is indicated based on the type of complaint, with priority given to cases that may significantly impact the reputation of the journal, the editorial board, the reviewers, or the researchers themselves.
4. The magazine is keen to avoid personal interests and disputes when handling any complaint or appeal, and the complainant is responded to formally and clearly to ensure integrity.
5. Regarding complaints of a legal nature, they are directly referred to a specialized legal advisor and the editorial board, with a postponement of the decision until the legal review is completed. The complainant is informed that their complaint is under legal review to ensure transparency.
6. The complainant is required to provide supporting material evidence to substantiate the validity of their complaint as part of the case processing procedures. In cases related to scientific plagiarism, a committee of specialized referees is formed to review the allegations based on the evidence provided by the complainant.
7. In cases of scientific misconduct, such as the theft of complete research and its publication under false names, the journal takes the necessary steps to retract the published article and remove it from its official platforms. Researchers are notified that they have violated publication ethics, and the original author is assured that publishing the paper without their permission constitutes a clear violation.
8. The journal guarantees complete confidentiality of the complainant's identity and does not disclose it to any other party. This confidentiality is considered one of the fundamental pillars of the complaint and appeal handling policy.
9. The journal also emphasizes the prohibition of publishing research under pseudonyms or unknown names, stressing the necessity of mentioning the real names of researchers and clarifying their workplaces and means of contact, to enhance transparency and credibility in the publication process.
